Art League North (ALN) was formed in 1990, is a non-profit organization comprised of about forty professional and amateur artist members, interested in promoting visual arts.
ALN artists seek to share, improve and exhibit their artistic skills through meetings, exhibitions, and service to the local arts community.
Major objectives include, but are not limited to:
Conducting meetings, critiques and programs to enrich skills, knowledge of various media and materials
Participating in art-related activities, demonstrations, workshops and shows for the benefit of members and the larger arts community
Sponsoring and producing a minimum of two exhibitions a year, where members' art is shown and sold
Encouraging and supporting local high school art students by providing scholarships and art supplies
